Jim Christy
March 29, 1957 - March 8, 2008
Delco Diamonds President
and
18U Showcase Team Manager
Jim Christy was one of the founding fathers of the Delco Diamonds in 2004.  Under Jim's guidance, the Delco Diamonds grew from that one team to become one of the area's  premier tournament softball organizations.
Jim's vision and mantra was: "It's all about the girls".  Jim was tireless in his pursuit of getting his players seen and recruited by college coaches so that his girls could first, get a college education and second play softball at the collegiate level.  Jim was so adept at this process that players from far and wide contacted the organization seeking to become a Delco Diamond player.
Jim left behind a Wife, Son and a Daughter and scores of players he considered his family.

DEANNA CHRISTY
2004-2007

Deanna was a member of the first Delco Diamonds team in 2004. Deanna has a lifetime batting average of .318. Deanna is our Outfield defensive gem and over the years has taken many base hits away from opponents. Using her quick speed in the gaps and her quick read on a batted ball, she covers a large area. Deanna has one of the lowest error percentages on the Diamonds. Deanna is a left-handed batter that slaps, bunts and hits gaps. Deanna has a great eye and leads all Diamonds in career base on balls as well as in the top 5 in runs scored. Deanna has played a vital role in the Diamonds success. Deanna will play her College softball at Neumann College.

DANIELLE GARRISON
2005-2007

The Diamonds picked up Danielle in the winter of 2005, a "Christmas present" you can say. Danielle was an immediate impact player, her skills are unmatched. Danielle a former Coatesville high school All- State star leads the Diamonds in 8 different categories. Danielle is a natural pure hitter that not only has crushing power but also hits for average, .465 lifetime. “D” is the ALL-TIME Leader in Diamonds; batting average, extra base hits, homeruns, rbi’s and runs scored. Danielle is truly a one of a kind. Danielle’s skills continue into great defensive play on the corners carrying a rocket arm. Danielle also holds all Diamonds pitching records; Most strike-outs, lowest era and most wins career and season. With her quality of play, Danielle has taken the Diamond organization to the next level. Her presence on the Diamonds has directly resulted in having strong, talented players seek to play with the Delco Diamonds. A truly great person and player that place’s the team above herself, Danielle is always ready to assist others. Danielle is also an All-Star freshmen player, at D-2  Domincan College, NY.
